Thesis Title: At the Crossroads of Religion and Spirituality: the Evil Eye in Contemporary Greece
About
I graduated from the University of Thessaly, Greece with a BA [honours] in History, Archaeology and Social Anthropology. I received my MA in Social Anthropology from Goldsmiths College, University of London, and my PhD in Social Anthropology from University College London.
I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at CRIA, New University of Lisbon, where I have just begun an anthropological research on 'New Age' spiritualities, religious pluralism and spiritual creativity in contemporary Lisbon.
My research interests are directed towards the multiple ways of expressing and practising religion and spirituality, sensory models of perception, epistemologies of knowledge, material manifestations of belief, and performances of (spi)ritual healing.
